Lightware celebrates its strategic alliance partners

Lightware Visual Engineering is celebrating its evolving strategic alliance relationships with Barco, Cisco, Logitech, Sennheiser and Utelogy Corporation. The manufacturer said that it is actively expanding its partner ecosystem to deliver reliable solutions for its customers across multiple vertical markets and geographic regions.

The company’s partnership with Sennheiser has seen both parties develop an integrated AV solution, combining Sennheiser’s ceiling microphones with a choice of Lightware solutions including Taurus TPX, Taurus UXC and the MMX2. This integration is driven by Lightware Advanced Room Automation (LARA).

Aimed at enhancing the meeting room experience, Lightware and Barco’s partnership has allowed Lightware to combine its Taurus UCX USB and HDMI Switchers with Barco’s ClickShare Conference to help solve multiple use cases. In rooms where ClickShare Conference is used as the default way to wirelessly present, a Lightware Switcher can be used to automatically trigger the required changes.

Through its strategic alliance partnership with Cisco, Lightware offers integration with Cisco Room Devices in meeting rooms and collaboration spaces, featuring its Taurus UCX/TPX and MMX2 series, utilising the full power of USB: USB-C, USB A/B. The integration allows the user to expand the number of sources of the Cisco Room device, extend the range of transparent signal transmission and divide or merge meeting spaces while controlling the sources and displays across multiple rooms.

The Logitech Collaboration Program, created through Lightware and Logitech’s alliance, is aimed at reducing hybrid issues with enhanced meeting room functionality. Lightware's Taurus UCX—now part of the Logitech Collaboration Program—enables participants to connect their personal devices and utilise various third-party video conferencing applications.

Lightware and Utelogy Corporation’s recently enhanced partnership brings further integration with Utelogy’s driver for the Taurus UCX to deliver improvements in firmware management and upgrades for Taurus UCX devices. Lightware’s API has also undergone significant updates.

Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware Visual Engineering remarked: “Collaborating with our Alliance partners has been a pivotal development for Lightware. By continuously partnering with industry leaders and adapting to the dynamic AV market, we are able to offer more efficient solutions and products that not only save our customers time and resources, but also enhance their user experience.”
