PRO LAB brings Dante by Design to the Middle East for first time
Following the success of the Dante by Design event held in London recently, the networking manufacturer is bringing the format to the Middle East region with the support of its local representative PRO LAB. Taking place on 19 October at the 25hours Hotel One Central in Dubai, the all-day event brings together professionals from all aspects of acoustic and audiovisual system design to hear from some of the leading acoustic consultants, technical solutions architects, AV systems designers and AV engineers, while getting up to speed and hands on with Dante AV and Dante Domain Manager.
“The inaugural Dante by Design event in Dubai is set to further push the boundaries of AV and networking design for entertainment venues, multipurpose facilities and live events,” explained PRO LAB managing director Rami Haber. “We're thrilled to partner with Audinate for this ground-breaking gathering of industry pioneers. This is a chance to be part of an exclusive community dedicated to shaping the pro AV designs.”
“It is the first event of its kind in the GCC that gathers manufacturers, consultants and engineers who are all developing, designing, integrating and using advanced network-based AV systems,” added PRO LAB’s pro audio brand manager, Pavel Shemiakin. “The idea is to establish new connections between pro AV experts in the region, to create a productive landscape for communication and experience sharing, to trigger discussions and simply to spend an enjoyable time with like-minded people chatting about what we love most.”
The event will kick-off with Audinate technical sales engineer, Lucas Moreno exploring the latest Dante updates, including Dante Connect, Audinate’s cloud-based option for remote production. Contributing from the manufacturer side will be presentations from Renkus-Heinz export marketing director Michal Poplawski focusing on beam steering technology for acoustically challenging environments where high-level speech intelligibility is crucial, and Dirk Noy, director of applied science and engineering at WSDG, who will explore the integration of architecture, acoustics and advanced audio technology.
The programme will also see Hardik Sawant share insights on the latest news and updates of pro AV network options from Netgear. Valerie Gard, sound engineer and systems tech for major festivals and tours, will talk about interconnecting equipment in the digital world at busy events and festival sites. Mixed networks, widely used for large-scale event production, coupled with fibre-optics – is another valuable topic and will be discussed by industry expert Viktor Shopin from Iron Optics.
Moreno will also lead a deep dive into the Dante Domain Manager, Dante API and Dante Connect platforms. “I’m really looking forward to Dante by Design in Dubai to share all the latest cool additions to the Dante solution and understand how Audinate can help the local market build amazing AV systems,” noted Moreno.
“To sum up, attendees can expect a huge amount of pro AV knowledge and experience to be packed into a single conference space in just one day,” concluded Shemiakin. “Its previous success in London proved that Dante AV technology is the bespoke world’s leader for AVoIP signal distribution and it is a big honour for PRO LAB to bring Dante By Design to the GCC with the support of our partners and friends. We’re looking forward to a great event, beneficial discussions and fruitful networking. See you there!”
The event is free although spaces are limited and prior registration “here” is required in order to attend.
