GCC:

Newly founded Neutrik EMEA GmbH took the opportunity of the recent Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt to formally announce that Procom Middle East will become its official distribution partner for the CONTRIK product portfolio in the GCC region.

“As the Neutrik Group expand and diversify into new product ranges and new applications, a one stop shop solution isn't always the right answer. As we diversify into power distribution, there is the necessity to find the right partners that do understand the product, the risks involved and who have the necessary skillset and experience,” explained Chris Neethling, CSO, Neutrik AG. “That's why in this case, in the Middle East, we have found the right partner in Procom who understands power distribution and who can truly help us to achieve the necessary goals and success in this area.”

“Procom is committed to raising standards and offering high quality safe power distribution in the Middle East region. So, this collaboration with the Neutrik Group and the CONTRIK brand is a natural fit that complements our existing portfolio of power distribution products” explained Rami Harfouch, business development manager at Procom Middle East. “A key point that we agree on is the importance of raising awareness on the application of safe power distribution and compliance in the events industry, including the continuation of the BS7909 – Temporary Electrical Systems Training course.”

Christoph Hellmuth, RSM MEA and India at Neutrik EMEA, is without doubt looking forward to working with the new distributor: “We believe power distribution is an undervalued topic in the industry and people need to be trained properly. With Procom, we know from industry feedback that they've put a huge focus on education, for system integrators, rental companies and end users, and they are well placed to make the market aware of the differences in our portfolio where we have products which comply to specific certifications.”
