Symetrix partners with GSL for the Middle East

Middle East:

Symetrix has partnered with GSL Professional for distribution in the Middle East. GSL has been serving the professional AV, lighting and control market in the region for more than 20 years and provides comprehensive solutions for key verticals including broadcast, recording, live sound, corporate, education, government, and hospitality. The addition of Symetrix to the Dubai-based distributor’s product portfolio will ensure it can offer a full signal chain of audio solutions to its customers.

“As a distribution partner, GSL has demonstrated that account service and support are critical elements in their business model,” said Jim Newhouse, director of international sales for Symetrix. “This quality makes Symetrix’s partners in each of our markets special to us, and invaluable to their customers.”

GSL feels it is now well-positioned to support loyal users, train local contractors, and introduce new consultants to the benefits of Symetrix DSP and control products. “One of the key elements which helps GSL to stand out from our competition is that we are purely focused on distribution and we are not just a box shifter,” said Faegh Fowzi, managing director of GSL Professional. “We have a large experience centre as well as an in-house training facility and a dedicated service centre to ensure our after-sales process is second to none. This has enabled us to develop strong relationships with a variety of system integration companies across the region, as well as consultants and contractors.”

GSL’s primary task will be to expand market awareness and availability of the product line, while also representing Symetrix in the local market. “There is no question that the Middle East market will only continue to grow,” Newhouse said. “We want to encourage and support that growth.
