Partnership provides hotels with Flamingo technology
ATEME, a video delivery solution company for broadcast, cable, DTH, IPTV and OTT, has announced a distribution agreement with IT Hospitality, an integrator for the MEA region. The collaboration will see MEA’s hotel and hospital sectors have access to the latest integrated guest infotainment systems and services powered by ATEME’s Flamingo technology.
The partnership follows 10 years of IT Hospitality installing and supporting Flamingo deployments in MEA. IT Hospitality has a network of regional offices and centres across Africa including Kenya, Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria, and will be able to offer support and maintenance of Flamingo technology to a wider range of countries in their native language.
“Guests visiting the Middle East and Africa expect the very best in-room facilities. This includes being able to enjoy their favourite TV and video content from home, on demand in their own languages, said Gregory Samson, VP business development, EMEA ATEME. “This agreement with IT Hospitality is great news for both the region’s system integrators and hotel chains. They can now have easy access to the latest IPTV technology, backed by local support and delivered by experienced specialists with a deep knowledge of the ATEME products.”
Olivier Hennion, manager director, IT Hospitality, concluded: “Having worked with Flamingo solutions for more than 10 years, we have established deep product knowledge and enjoyed an excellent, mutually beneficial relationship with ATEME. We are delighted to have been recognised as a Flamingo specialist and are looking forward to the next phase of working together as ATEME’s distributor in MEA, helping hotels and hospitals across the region deliver exceptional in-room experiences.”
