Israel:

Israel Railways (ISR) has turned to ClearOne and its Israeli integrator, DM Engineering, for an AV solution which would fulfil the requirements of its CEO’s office. The room hosts critical internal management meetings as well as externally with the Israeli government departments and authorities, so it was important for the CEO to be able to host productive and efficient meetings.

After discussions with ISR’s team, DM Engineering employed a complete ClearOne solution in the meeting room that included a Converge Pro 2 128T multichannel microphone automixer, two BMA CT ceiling tile beamforming mic arrays, and the Unite 200 PTZ camera.

Due to the positive response generated by the installation, ISR has further expanded the deployment of ClearOne’s conferencing solution to cover seven classrooms at its training facility, where students learn the skills needed to fulfil roles associated with professions across the transport and railway sector. ISR installed a BMA 360 beamforming microphone array ceiling tile, Converge Pro 2 48V microphone automixer and a Unite 200 PTZ camera. The platform provides a reliable connection allowing meeting participants to connect to any video platform of their choice, meaning that ISR students can easily continue their education, regardless of location, which has been important during Covid-19.

“A key requirement for ISR was that participants, regardless of their location, would be able to concentrate on the content of their meetings without having to worry about the underlying technology,” said Aric Ben-Zuk, VP of sales for DM Engineering. In addition to these installations, ISR has plans to build a second training facility in the future and has said it will be looking to deploy ClearOne solutions for this.
