Interfacio receives Queen’s Award for Enterprise

United Kingdom:

Audio and entertainment technology recruitment business Interfacio has won a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Now in its 55th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise is the most prestigious business award in the UK.

The award recognises a period of continuous growth for the company’s non-UK business between 2014 and 2020. During this time, delivery of its recruitment and executive search services across live events, corporate AV, consumer audio and fixed installation markets grew considerably in key international markets, including North America, Europe and APAC, which continue to represent over 80% of business. In recent years, Interfacio has strengthened its APAC recruitment and search services, with the region now making up approximately one fifth of the company's non-UK business.

“We are extremely honoured to be receiving this award and would like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment shown by our whole team in delivering consistent results for our clients and candidates around the world in what continues to be a fast-changing and often challenging market,” commented founder and managing director, Richard Wear. “Recruiting in international markets requires experience, expertise and high sensitivity to differences in communication and business cultures. Recent search project successes for clients in Norway, Denmark, Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, Canada and the US illustrate the depth and strength of the capability we now have internationally.”

Added co-director Isabelle Wear: "Working closely with people, listening to them and understanding the culture of our clients and their businesses, remains at the heart of what we do. As long as we can offer expert, personal support to individuals when they are considering key changes in their career, and we can remain true to them and our clients’ needs, the work we do will always be relevant and valuable. Being recognised with this award and with the recent launch of our new inTeams coaching and performance programmes, this is an especially exciting time for us.”

“We are continuing to tailor our services and efforts to help businesses find and secure the best talent for their teams whilst at the same time supporting individuals as they take important steps in their career,” said Richard Wear. “As the world and the industry start to return to the new normal it is exciting to see what is in store for the next phase of our development. We would like to acknowledge and thank our many clients around the world for the faith they have placed in us and for their continued support during a period when identifying, attracting and securing the right talent has continued to be one of the hardest challenges for all businesses.”
