ASG names Paul Weiser head of marketing

Paul Weiser has joined Advanced Systems Group (ASG) as its head of marketing. An industry veteran, he moves to the company having held similar roles in the past with ChyronHego, where he served for three years as VP of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, and prior to that worked within the Vitec Group’s Production Services division. He has also led sales efforts for AJA Video, Autodesk, Apple and Avid Technology.

“Our industry is evolving, and Paul understands the challenges of cloud-based production services as well as traditional workflows,” said Dave Van Hoy, president of ASG. “It’s important to help our new and existing clients understand how ASG can help with a variety of projects, services and personnel needs. Paul is instrumental in sharing our message and building the ASG brand.”
