Online:

Audio-Technica has launched a newly designed website which, in addition to an all-new visual design, is device-agnostic, functioning equally well across mobiles devices and PCs. The site is content-focused, will be updated regularly with news of product launches, press releases and corporate milestones, and adds an e-commerce functionality.

“The new A-T site was designed with a mobile-first philosophy, meaning that all visitors to the site can expect the same high level of brand experience no matter their device – mobile, tablet or desktop,” commented Peter Baker, Audio-Technica US creative director. “The mobile-first approach is essential for any forward-looking brand that is moving with the speed of their customers’ online expectations. The basic aesthetic of the Audio-Technica brand is simplicity, and all of our communications reflect a clean and simplistic approach, which allows our products and photography to do the talking. There are no unnecessary distractions, and we communicate our diverse product mix without being overwhelming to our users.”

Additionally, visitors can discover the brand’s history, which dates back to 1962 as a designer and manufacturer of phono cartridges. “We have a great story to tell, one that is deeply rooted in our founder Hideo Matsushita’s vision of providing high-quality audio for all. Cartridges are at the heart of that story. We are witnessing a revived appreciation for the vinyl analogue experience with a whole new generation of audiophiles,” explains Gary Boss, Audio-Technica US marketing director “The new cartridge category, along with our comprehensive line of turntables, aims not only to tell this story, but also educate new listeners on the finer details of what goes into crafting world-class cartridges.”

A commercial audio section for consultants, contractors and system integrators splits products down into different categories and use cases and there are also resources present such as an extensive support section for online orders, warranty/repair, product FAQs, product registration and software downloads.
