BURL Audio announces Covid-19 songwriting competition

BURL Audio is looking to keep people busy during the current lockdown with a songwriting contest. As a motivator, the company is offering the choice of either a B16 Mothership Chassis or a B2 ADC as a grand prize. One lucky runner-up will also get to choose between Burl’s B1 or B1D audio interfaces. The competition is limited to one entry per person.

The requirements are as follows: Entries must be a new song of any genre and must relate in some way to the present Covid-19 crisis; the fidelity of the recording does not matter and all entries must be submitted by 4 May, together with a photo, bio or artwork of some kind. Videos will be accepted, but a video is not required.

BURL Audio will nominate the top four songs and the winner and runner-up will be selected from those by a public poll on the manufacturer’s Facebook page. Voting will take place the week of 4 May.

Entries for the competition can be submitted ‘here’.
