Biamp: Designing Systems with PoE Amplification

This webinar explores the theory and application of Power over Ethernet (PoE) and how it can be leveraged as a power source for audio amplification. We will review the various PoE standards to develop a clearer understanding of how power ratings are listed and how to properly determine system PoE requirements. Also included are best practices for determining the appropriate levels of amplification power necessary to achieve sufficient audio levels in voice lift and conferencing applications. Finally, we will take a look at Biamp’s patented PoE amplifier technology and how to successfully integrate it into system designs.
