K-Array’s Axle-KRX802 system supplied by Procom was recently used on the Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) docked permanently at Dubai’s Mina Rashid Marina. The client was seeking a portable system that had a compact design due to loading routes, as well as the limited space of the stage. The Axle-KRX802 was said to be able to blend into the background so that the audience could focus on the show. The system is being used during every event, live or theatrical show on the QE2.

‘I was blown away with the clarity and power of the sound, especially from such compact cabinets, and having moved the system in and out of a number of venues, the ease of setup is also a great feature; the subs aren't unnecessarily heavy and easily carried by two people,’ commented Erich Simon from Snap, the technician for the project. ‘The top cabinets can also be lifted and installed by one person if needed due to their compact nature making them a great portable speaker system.’
