InSync Technology is partnering with Qvest Media to allow integration of FrameFormer, InSync Technology’s motion compensated frame rate converter, into Qvest.Cloud. Qvest.Cloud is a media management platform intended to simplify the shift between integrated multicloud architectures. It enables the replacement of on-premise production with multicloud or hybrid productions while centralising control services in media management. This, explains the manufacturer, creates seamless integration with both private and major public clouds while centering themselves in the world of third-party media applications.

Features of Qvest.Cloud include workflow orchestration, cloud automation, user management, monitoring, cost control and billing, as well as comprehensive IT security.

FrameFormer offers frame rate conversion alongside cadence management for content such as sub-QCIF. FrameFormer is run on CPU-only processors, which lets the user quickly scale the service in the cloud.

‘Cloud-based standards conversion is central to extending the global reach of your content,’ said Daryl Blair, product manager of InSync Technology. ‘Access to FrameFormer within Qvest.Cloud enables users to transform their assets rapidly and efficiently into the format needed for onward distribution in any country or region.’
