Hewshott International hires design engineer

Hewshott International has strengthened its international project team with the hiring of Praveen RP as design engineer. His past experience includes roles as a project engineer at Granteq in Dubai, and as a senior project engineer and assistant project manager at AV Integration Distribution in India. In his new role at Hewshott, RP will support the company’s global support teams.

‘Praveen is the right person for Hewshott and we are excited to welcome him into our design team,’ said Karan Jaitly, managing director of Hewshott’s Indian division. ‘His skills and experience as a remarkable collaborator are a great addition to the company. It is known that our people have always been the driving force behind our record growth and continued success.’

Through his past roles, RP has experience of working on large-scale projects in India and the Middle East. He is described as highly technical, with the ability to get hands-on with projects, while also dealing with clients, including site coordination, cabling installation, rack building, commissioning, conducting client training, producing handover documentation and preparing schematics.

At Hewshott, RP will assist consultant teams from the UK and Australia, preparing AV design packages and researching solutions to help clients fulfil their technology needs.

‘I am delighted to join Hewshott and eager to get started on the several projects going on in India and abroad,’ said RP. ‘Everyone in the company is friendly and approachable, from top-to-bottom. I’m looking forward to being part of a team that works passionately together to build great, transformative solutions.’
