The iKlip 3 is designed for microphone stand-mounting

The new iKlip 3 series of smartphone- and tablet-mounting solutions (including iPhones and iPads) from IK Multimedia has been designed to offer secure and flexible support when holding a device during a performance, as well as for image and video capture or presentations. The range comprises the iKlip 3, iKlip 3 Video and iKlip 3 Deluxe.

The iKlip 3 is designed for microphone stand-mounting and sports a holding bracket with rubber pads and a spring mechanism that allows users to rotate their device up to 360° while remaining durable. The new design allows users to mount their device on the front, side or boom arm of any microphone stand. In addition, a smart bracket design keeps buttons and ports free from obstruction, while extending arms offer secure support for the majority of tablet sizes.

Meanwhile, the iKlip 3 Video offers the same universal tablet support, flexible viewing angle and design as iKlip 3, but mounts to camera tripods instead of microphone stands. The iKlip 3 Video reportedly mounts to any standard UNC ¼-inch - 20 thread, making it compatible with the majority of camera tripods, monopods or other mounts.

Finally, the iKlip 3 Deluxe has been developed with ‘the widest range of mounting options for a simplified set up’, according to the manufacturer. It includes the mic stand mounting bracket and the tripod mount attachment, providing a total of five mounting options. Additionally, this combination facilitates mounting on top of a mic stand or any standard UNC camera thread.
