The XPA Ultra line of power amplifiers claim to run cooler than other Class-D amplifiers

Extron has managed to cram more channels into a smaller space, and with less radiated heat, in its XPA Ultra line of power amplifiers. The models are claimed to run cooler than other Class-D amplifiers, extending component life and eliminating the need for ventilation rack space, while the lineup includes improved ‘ultra-fast’ wake-up from standby to ensure the beginning of audio is not cut off. An Everlast power supply, professional grade signal-to-noise ratio, ultra-low inrush current and patented CDRS (Class-D Ripple Suppression) are also employed inside every XPA Ultra model. The amps deliver 35W or 100W per channel into 8Ω and 4Ω or 70V systems.
