A new position has been created at Meyer Sound with Rob Cowles named the company’s director of product marketing. He will report to SVP of marketing John McMahon and take responsibility for competitive marketing, vertical market strategies, digital initiatives, and customer relationship management.

Mr Cowles joins Meyer Sound with vast entertainment sector experience. His past roles include senior marketing positions at the likes of THX Ltd, LucasArts, CNET and AOL Time Warner.

Meanwhile, Daniel Rivera, who has served as Meyer Sound’s business development specialist in the house of worship market since 2016, has been promoted to the role of business development specialist. He now assumes a broader strategic role within the company by working closely with architects, consultants and end users across multiple vertical markets.

As a result of Mr Rivera’s promotion, Chris Gille has filled the role of business development specialist for the house of worship market. Mr Gille is well prepared for this position with AV systems design and operations experience, as well as a background in technical management positions at several houses of worship, including Willow Creek Community Church in Illinois and the Eastside Christian Church in Anaheim.
