Alrayyan TV adopts Dalet Galaxy five media platform

Qatar:

Alrayyan TV has employed the Dalet Galaxy five media platform to centralise its media operations, forming part of the broadcaster’s wider plans to revamp its technical infrastructure as it moves to a new state-of-the-art facility in Souq Waqif. Dalet Galaxy five allows Alrayyan TV staff to manage content throughout the entire workflow, from arrival and production to distribution via satellite, digital and social media channels.

Dalet partnered with Salam Media Cast (SMC) to work with the Alrayyan TV team to architect the new system, design the workflows, install the solution and train users.

‘Since we are a tapeless environment and to allow our teams to produce and share content internally much more efficiently, accelerating our production schedules while dedicating more time to crafting high-quality packages, we decided to go with Dalet Galaxy five as a collaborative software that centralises our valuable assets under one single system,’ explained Mohamad Naim Al Said, engineering department director at Alrayyan TV. ‘The underlying media asset management and workflow orchestration functionality allows us to exchange content seamlessly from one department to another, setting the stage for expanding our programme production and delivery options.

‘Two main sections of the Alrayyan engineering department, which are being headed by Ghandi Elghotmi and Riyaz Mirza respectively, planned, initiated and completed the work tirelessly with SMC and Dalet during the launch of the Dalet MAM System as part of the migration project.’
