Kathy-Anne McManus has returned to Avid as senior vice president of global customer solutions and services. She previously worked for the company on two separate occasions: as customer service manager for Australia and New Zealand and educational services manager for APAC between 1992 and 1998, and as director of services for APAC and VP of worldwide professional services from 2007 to 2012.

Ms McManus has also worked in senior leadership positions at several media technology companies, such as Adobe, Amdocs, Ericsson and Telstra. Having started her career in media as an editor and producer for Australian broadcast television channels Seven and Nine, she now returns to Avid with more than 30 years of experience and, based at the company’s Boston HQ, will establish a new service strategy to further improve the users experience with Avid’s tools and solutions.

‘We’re fortunate that our search for the best available talent in media technology services has resulted in KAM’s return to Avid,’ said Jeff Rosica, Avid CEO and president. ‘She’s done a lot of work in our customers’ community and knows how to navigate our landscape, so I anticipate we’ll make rapid progress in evolving our offerings.’

Ms McManus is excited to get back to work with the team on a new strategy. ‘[It] will further elevate customer success with our tools and solutions today, and position them for their future through advanced approaches, such as SaaS, for more effective service delivery,’ she said. ‘Avid customers and users count on us to help them deliver their best work so they can delight their audiences everywhere. In turn, it’s our responsibility to deliver a service experience that delights our customers.’
