Afrocoustic Sessions Evolve with Prosound

South Africa:

An Electro-Voice Evolve 50 system supplied by Prosound is serving as the main PA at Rockets Restaurant in Bryanstone when it hosts the Afrocoustic Sessions each Thursday night. The sessions are intended to provide a platform for both established and up-and-comping artists to perform at some of Johannesburg’s top restaurants.

According to Prosound, the Evolve system was perfect for the venue, which has to abide by noise restrictions as it’s based in a residential neighbourhood. The linear line array design therefore helps to minimise spill out into the neighbourhood. Additionally, the built-in Bluetooth DSP control allows the venue manager to control sound levels via the EV app throughout the night.

In addition to the Evolve 50 system, Prosound also supplied a selection of ETC PAR cans and lighting control to add some colours to the setup.
