Atlona promotes Ed Grabscheid to CFO

Atlona’s Ed Grabscheid has been promoted to the role of chief financial officer (CFO). He has spent the past three years as the company’s vice president of finance and administration.

Mr Grabscheid possesses more than two decades of financial experience, including a stint as senior director of finance at Intermolecular where he transitioned the business from a private company to an IPO. He also served as controller of world wide services at Cisco, contributing to the growth of the services division to more than US$8 billion in annual revenue.

Reporting to CEO Ilya Khayn, Mr Grabscheid will be responsible for Atlona’s strategic investments, reporting functions, human resources and tax and treasury requirements. The new CFO notes that Atlona has significantly increased its headcount and revenue, and will therefore continue its focus on growth and positive returns on current investments.

‘We are seeing the climate and the industry changing for the positive and Atlona is ahead of the game in making the right investments in people and technology,’ said Mr Grabscheid. ‘We have the product portfolio to compete at any level and for any opportunity, and it’s an exciting time to help lead Atlona into its next phase of growth. Atlona is a world-class organisation, and I am excited by the opportunity to take on an expanded financial leadership role while collaborating with all of the other functional groups that contribute to our continued success.’
